The Slash is Back: EVIL AWAKENING: LUDLOW MASSACHUSETTS SERIAL KILLER
Evil Awakening was released on August 19th, and has created a buzz in the horror world for more than, one reason. Infernal Dreams Horror Society gav,bre it a rating of 8/10 while Rogue Cinema gave it a 3/4.
On top of bringing back the slash, it has gotten some controversy from the "hanging man," a rumor of a suicide caught on tape that is making the rounds on the message boards and several horror sites. Some horror sites have actually "confirmed" this, pointing to a death that coincided with the film itself. At this point, Writer/Director Geno McGahee has given no comment.
Synopsis:

Ludlow, a small and quiet town, was once terrorized by an insane serial killer. The townspeople brought him to justice, but true evil does not die. He will return and when a group of youngsters looking to party and have a good time in the very woods where he was killed, they will have to deal with the Evil Awakening and the bloodbath that ensues. Ludlow has a legend, and it carries and axe.
