Veronique Jeanmarie is a NYC based Performer-Playwright. She has recently begun performing her new solo show "Big Red Drum Set" at venues around the city. "Big Red Drum Set" is a show about "music, memory, siblings, and...growing up in Los Angeles."Three brilliant musicians have contributed to Veronique's sound design for "Big Red Drum Set." And they are...British drummer Paul Robinson (Nina Simone's drummer from 1984 -2003), NYC based violinist/arranger Maxim Moston (violinist and musical director for Antony and the Johnsons), and California based-Juilliard trained pianist Joan Harkness.Veronique's other solo work includes "Fifteen Dreams" at the D-Lounge as part of The Hourglass Solo Lab's "Real Live Women 2006." She has performed regionally at many theatres including The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, The Kennedy Center, The American Conservatory Theatre, and The California Theatre Center.
