STRICT INTENT

Strict Intent was born Ray Leonard Muslar. He is a certified sound recording engineer and classifies his self as “the do it yourself kinda guy.” He started making beats at age 16. He composed more than 100 beats by the time he was 17 years old. He wanted his beats to be heard and so he started to rap at age 17 to anyone who would listen. At age 18, he wrote and personally recorded more than 25 songs.In 2008, Strict Intent form his own corporation, Strict Entertainment Inc. and signed himself to his own label. Thereafter, he wrote, produced, recorded, and mixed his debut cd album, Highway of Lost Dreams, which will be released early 2009.Strict Intent enjoys writing lyrics to his own beats. He defines success as doing what you love to do in life. “I love writing songs.” Music is certainly his first love. With his musical background of playing the trumpet in 3rd grade, playing the drums and winning a school drum set competition in 6th grade, and being brought up to listen to all types of music, he has a profound appreciation for music.
