I've had some life-changing experiences which are now shaping my world as I know it. A cartharsis occurred during a workshop devoted to developing your own psychic abilities, and to communicating with animals.Throughout my life, I knew I had some kind of ability that most people did not. I also thought that if I told anyone about it they would either laugh, or simply think I was crazy. So I kept quiet. It began in childhood with precognitive dreaming.
Yes, I knew I could look at someone and easily determine good/bad, truth/lie, trustworthy/untrustworthy, what they were feeling, etc. I knew I could look at an animal and pretty much know what he/she was thinking and what he/she was going to do next. Nature has always been a source of connection and comfort to me, even replenishment. Other aspects of abilities presented themselves early on and I simply kept my counsel. Until now...
After becoming active in some paranormal groups I have had additional experiences which have led me to this place and this time. The workshop and the leader's input were very validating for me. Previously I didn't want to claim to be something I wasn't without being sure about it. I am ready now to fully acknowledge my abilities and to develop them further. I am an empath and intuitive. I am clairsentient, clairaudient, and I have precognitive dreams.
Additionally, there are certain topics and aspects of spirituality I am continuously being drawn to time and time again. Perhaps some of the knowledge I seek can be found there also. The journey continues and I will learn as I go along this path.
I enjoy conducting paranormal investigations. Being a member of Haunted North Carolina, Ghosthounds, and the Virginia Society of Paranormal Education and Research Club keeps me pretty busy. Recent investigations include among others: Pt. Lookout Lighthouse, Maryland; Old Bluff Church and Bentonville Battlefield Park; the Vander Lights; Ft. Harrison, Virginia; the Battleship U.S.S. North Carolina; Berkeley Plantation in Charles City, Virginia; Cold Harbor, Gaines Mills, and a colonial church (location confidential) with Patrick Burns’ Ghosthounds at Ghoststock6 in Savannah, Georgia. Also made a trip out to Bonaventure Cemetery for a photo shoot.

I want to know if you can get up after a night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done for the children.
It doesn't matter who you are, or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back.
It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away.
I want to know if you can be alone with yourself, and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.
