About Me

I am such a private person, I can't believe I'm typing anything into a box on my computer screen for public display.

My Interests

Can this be used against me in a court of law?

I'd like to meet:

Mostly people I already know. Strangers are kinda sketchy. But of course I make exceptions on a regular basis, as I start a new job every few months.

Music:

Beck, Pixies, White Stripes, Tom Petty, Devo, Flaming Lips, Hall & Oates, Bowie, Queens of the Stone Age, Wolf Parade, John Fogerty, The Eagles, Cheap Trick, The Thrills, Coldplay, Supergrass & Black Rebel Motorcyle Club...and those are just the concerts I went to in the past year! Obviously I love rock music, especially psychedelic stuff from Zeppelin, Donovan, Cream, T Rex & The Who, to The Verve, the Vines, Blur & the Buzzcocks...and for some reason I've become obsessed with ELO lately, even though I used to think they sucked ass. Hmmmm...don't know what the hell that means.

Movies:

let me flip through my DVDs...Spiderman, Goodfellas, Miller's Crossing (and everything by the Cohen Brothers), La Femme Nikita, Pulp Fiction, Addicted to Love, everything by Monty Python especially Holy Grail and Life of Brian, Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine, the Evil Dead trilogy (especially 2) and Army of fucking Darkness dude!, Dogtown and Z-Boys, X-Men, Citizen Caine, LA Confidential, Dr Strangelove, Usual Suspects, T2, Matrix, Buckaroo Banzai, Being John Malcovich, Groundhog Day, Ghostbusters, Ghost World, Almost Famous, Bad Santa, Top Secret, American Werewolf in London, Being There, South Park the Movie, Hellraiser, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, The Exorcist, Zoolander, Kids in the Hall Brain Candy, Repo Man, Crouching Tiger, The Ring, Crash, The Incredibles, and March of the Penguins!...I even like the Monkees' movie Head, though I know most people think it's stupid and I pretty much agree with them. But my ALL TIME FAVORITE MOVIES are WILLIE WONKA (the ORIGINAL please!), and HAROLD & MAUDE.

Television:

Tivo Season Passes, in this order: 24, Lost, Family Guy, Battlestar Gallactica (it really is good), The Evening News, ...but mostly the monitor in the living room is for watching movies.

Books:

A Wrinkle in Time, anything by Tom Robbins but especially Jitterbug Perfume, Still Life with Woodpecker and Fierce Invalids...Clive Barker's The Great and Secret Show, Le Morte D'Arthur, Hitchhickers Guide to the Galaxy (et al), The Holy Bible, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Art of Sexual Ecstasy, Geek Love, Beauty's Punishment, Germs Guns and Steel, Catcher in the Rye, No Exit, and the dictionary.

Heroes:

Underdog (from when I was 3 to about 6 years old), David Bowie, Jesus, Alice Cooper, Buckaroo Banzai, Michael Palin, Pete Shelley, James Bond, and my Dad!
