About Me

Ahhh... the "Band Bio"...
I lost my "band card" right after high school when my band broke up. It was very tragic and upsetting considering I had already told everyone that I would be a big Rawk Star. So, I went to a community college only to drop out after 3 semesters. I started recording my first solo record and ever since then I've been referring to myself as a "Solo Artist". The "band card" is so much cooler and easier to use though... just in case you aren't aware, this is how it usually goes down...
-"Hey, what do you do?"
-"Oh I'm in a band..."
-"OH YOU'RE IN A BAND!? THAT IS SO FUCKIN RAD!"
-VS-
-"Hey, what do you do"
-"I'm a Solo Artist"
-"Oh... thats cool... I guess...*walks away*
I finished the first record in a year, called it "A Year to See" and started playing as many shows as I could. I had my friends backing me as "The Phobias" and we had a fuckin riot. After a year of playing the first record to death I went back in the studio to record "Mutt Rock". This was a giant project that I worked on for another whole year. It became my attempt to make my own favorite 90's rock record. I'm absolutely in love with how it came out. I feel very accomplished and proud of "Mutt Rock" and want as many people to hear it as possible. So, naturally I decided to move to NYC to shop the album around, put together a band, and play on Late Night with Conan Obrien. Thats my plan and I'm going for it.
So, that’s me. That’s where I come from and where I hope to be going. If you dig the tunes, let me know. If you hate the tunes, let me know. Either way, thanks for listening and coming out to the shows. I promise to keep making music as long as there is someone out there listening... even if it’s just the sound guy telling me that I only have one song left.... after I finish playing my first one.... Ha.

The list could go on for ever and ever... That is what I think my music is comparable to.

I like to listen to... all of the above and Fiona Apple, As Tall as Lions, Every Time I Die, Deftones, Audioslave, Danko Jones, Mylo, Girl Talk, Radiohead, Beatles, Muse, Say Anything, Down To Earth Approach, Lit, Mr. Bungle, Portishead, Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins, Third Eye Blind... Again, the list could go on for ever.
I listen to just about everything, but I kinda like to live in the world of 90's music.
Sounds Like: I may have gotten carried away with the last section which was "Influences"... making this box for "Sounds Like" kind of pointless. Feel free to read the "Influences" box again. I am now going to post this flyer to support an artist that i admire...
