The Great Canadian Nobodies

About Me

When asked to name some key elements of Canadian culture, many of us repeat the same stereotypes: snow, hockey, beer, and a certain chain of coffee shops. How many people put great music on the list? Not enough. This is something that the “Great Canadian Nobodies” want to change. This group of talented small town lads gives audiences an entertaining reminder of the brilliant and often overlooked musicians of our country's past and present. With a couple of guitars, a mandolin, a single drum, and their voices, the G.C.N. specialize in adding their own flavour to the songs. Whether it’s stripped down acoustic versions of rock classics or bluegrass arrangements of today’s pop hits, you can count on the Nobodies to provide an entire evening if toe-tapable, sing alongable, (and don’t forget beer-drinkable) entertainment.
