About Me

Ted Dalton has a well seasoned and extraordinarily talented rhythm section consisting of bassist, Jacob Welch and drummer, Ricky Grubbs. On occasion Ted invites special guests to sit in with the band. He also performs solo-acoustic shows as well. Ted’s style of playing is diverse and versatile. His song selection ranges from Classic Rock, New Rock, R&B-Soul, Outlaw Country, New Country, Bluegrass, to whatever’s hot today. Ted has performed all over the south and mid-west with several different bands. The Mike Mitchell Band, Creek of Man-Side, Po’Mofos, The Early Times Band, Fray’d Enz, Just to name a few. Ted Dalton also worked with Flat Five Records and Press out of Salem, Virginia from 2001-2003, writing songs and performing live for the record company.Ted’s musical talent exceeds playing the guitar as he is well skilled at playing the harmonica, mandolin, upright bass, & electric guitar. He is also a witty and thoughtful songwriter and can adapt to whatever environment he is in, on stage. His performance speaks for itself and is tasteful, funny, intimate and unforgettable.Ted writes songs about his life, your life, the worlds filth & beauty, love, loss & gain, RECOVERY, spiritual principles and the God who made em'. Scott "ERRRL" Coates Co-wrote: Restless & Weary, Balance In her Hand, New Wind. He has been a motivator for Ted when it comes to writing...
