I like and am influenced by a vast range of music. I am also a very, very passionate dude. Tend to hang with friends a lot, practice bass a lot and mess with computers. I love my bro, my family, all my friends. I love observing the world, and not many things beat looking at the stars. I am studying jazz at the Elder Conservatorium at Adelaide Uni, majoring in electric bass. Been playing 5 years. Not really into the double bass thing, but I am a bit of a gearhead so any spare cash I have usually goes towards getting that 'perfect' sound. My current setup is a Fodera Imperial Elite 6 string bass, USA Fender Jazz 4 string bass a Markbass Little Mark II head and Trace Elliot 410 cabinet. Primarily a 6 string bass player these days. Would love to study contemporary music after the degree too - I wouldn't call myself a jazz head but learning about it does give you a much deeper appreciation and deeper understanding of all kinds of music, it can also be very beautiful! I love playing at my church, and I love gospel/groove music. I also have a few different jobs, I work on an ISP internet helpdesk, work in an internet cafe down the bay and also teach bass at a few schools. I live to worship God and give thanks to Jesus Christ. I have been blessed more than I could ever know. I go to a little church a bit of a drive from where I live, Westbourne Park Uniting Church - love of love there! I was vegetarian for five years now, was vegan for a little bit of it - now I'm just off red meat but I can make some mean, mean veg curries. Can appreciate a good beer but don't drink very often, and never go over the top with it. I collect sneakers, mainly Nikes, but anything that's cool is fair game. I play lacrosse. Would love to visit Japan (again), the Netherlands, the USA, South America, Europe and Russia but for now I'm happy in Adelaide...
