BIO
Born in Houston Texas, Young Tyson began to make a name for himself in 1999 on underground mix tapes. His ability to portray the streets of the dirty south with his vivid lyrics and heavy vocal delivery earned him the name, Monster Of The South, and quickly launched him to the forefront of an elite list of upcoming artists from H-Town. In 2002, Young Tyson, with his brother Clazz-B, began their own entertainment company entitled Dark City Entertainment. They began working on Young Tysons album, We Ryde. In 2002, one of Houstons most phenomenal producers, Bach Beater, from Bach of Bach Beat Entertainment Company, came aboard producing eleven tracks including: Get Off The Wall - a definite club banger and party favorite, and Kill Or Be Killed- a street soldiers Art Of War. In 2004, Young Tyson signed his first national recording contract with World Jam Records. At the same time he was teamed up with another phenomenal producer, Jacob Johnson. With Jacob Johnson, under World Jam Records, Young Tyson completed his first album including the solidified tracks: Raise Up - a love song for the streets and comrades of north side H-Town, Guilty (featuring Eric R) - a real love song and instant classic, and Buck Nekit (featuring 5th Ward Webbie) - the first single. The album We Ryde was released in July of 2004 and has been a proven success sweeping radio and nightclubs throughout the south. Young Tyson recently completed his new single, Drop It To Tha Floor, and a music video along with it that will soon appear on BET. The single has not yet been released but is creating a buzz upon the underground.
