A história dessa banda começa no dia em que eu nasci, mas vamos rezumí-la um pouco: Meu irmão mais velho tinha (e ainda tem) uma bela coleção de discos, e eu cresci ouvindo coisas como Cassiano, Tim Maia, Jorge Ben, Earth Wind & Fire, Cool & The Gang, Billy Paul, etc. Em 1997 eu e um grande amigo (o Celso) resolvemos formar um grupo de rap, porque nós já sentíamos uma grande necessidade de nos expressarmos através da música, e o rap era o gênero que estava mais próximo de nós. O grupo se chamava Mentes Perigosas e chegamos a fazer bastantes apresentações juntos. Depois de aproximadamente um ano e meio, num momento em que eu passava por uma fase de muitas dúvidas e poucas respostas (pra variar), notei que estava cada dia mais distante da proposta do grupo, então conversei com o pessoal e resolvi sair. Tentei ficar sem escrever, mas quando menos esperava lá estávamos eu, o caderno e a caneta em mais uma das aventuras de Biro. Eu não conseguia deixar de fazer música. Foi quando tive uma experiência muito forte com Deus e percebi que nasci pra isso e que ao invés de tentar fugir deveria me orgulhar desse privilégio. Aprendi a tocar e depois de anos de hesitação decidi que era o momento de reunir pessoas com a mesma vocação que eu e formar uma banda de rap. Começamos com uma tímida apresentação no EEPSG Samuel Morse, no Jardim Capela. Um time improvisado só para aquela apresentação e percebemos que poderíamos, sim, levar mais a sério a nossa necessidade de exprimir nossa alma através da música. Essa apresentação foi em 2004. Após isso formamos um time (onde estávamos eu, o Maurício e o Rick) e fizemos algumas reuniões e apresentações em alguns lugares aqui mesmo na região. O Claudio e a Sandrinha, nós conhecemos quando fomos tocar na igreja que eles freqüentam. Daí começamos a perceber que tínhamos sonhos parecidos e que poderíamos unir nossas experiências em um só trabalho. Depois veio a Cíntia, a idéia de chamá-la surgiu num ensaio onde eu fui convidado pra tocar teclado em um evento na igreja que ela freqüentava na época. Eu vi ela cantando e achei que ela poderia somar com a gente (e deu certo!) //Não posso deixar de mencionar aqui as pessoas que passaram por nosso caminho e deixaram marcas muito positivas: Leonardo, Josué, Ingrid, Daniel, Betinho, Messias, Lucas e Luciano - VALEU MESMO!!! The history of this band begins on the day I was born, but we summarize it a bit: My oldest brother had (and still have) a beautiful collection of records, and I grew up listening to things like Cassiano, Tim Maia, Jorge Ben, Earth Wind & Fire, Cool & The Gang, Billy Paul, etc.. In 1997 me and a great friend (Celso) form a group of rap, because we have already felt a great need to express ourself through music, and rap was the musical gender that is closest to us. The group was called Mentes Perigosas and we come together to make a lot of shows. After approximately a year and a half at a time when I was through a phase of many questions and few answers (for a change),I noted that each day was more distant from the group's proposal, then spoke with the members and decided to leave. I tried to go without writing, but when we least expected it myself, tender and pen in one of the most adventurous of Biro. I could not stop making music. It was when I had a very strong experience with God and realized that was born that and get that instead of trying to flee should I proud of that privilege. I learned to play and after years of hesitation decided that was the time to meet people with the same mission that I and form of a band of rap. We started with a timid display on EEPSG Samuel Morse, in the Jardim Capela. An improvised team only for that presentation and found that we could take more seriously our need to express our soul through music. This presentation was in 2004. After we formed a team (where we've been me, the Maurício and Rick) and did some meetings and shows in some places even here in the region. Claudio and Sandrinha, we know when we were playing in the church where they attend. It began to realize that we had same dreams and we could unite our experiences in a single work. Then came Cintia, the idea of calling her showed up in a trial where I was invited for playing keyboard at an event in the church where she attended at the time. I saw her singing and thought she could add to us (and it worked!) / / I must mention the people who passed through our way and left very positive marks : Leonardo, Josué, Ingrid, Daniel, Betinho, Messias, Lucas and Luciano - THANKS FOLKS Y'ALL ARE IN THE HOUSE!
