For one of L.E.S.'s best rap artists, there is tribute to pay for the great work DA BODY has produced underground this ending year of 2008. His songs "Never Lost" and "LNYC" send the original street code that enforces his everyday of life. "To expect the best, to strive among the rest who hate, to take control of what's yours, and never settle for anything less" are just only a few of those wise messages extracted from the rhymes of the Lower East Side born lyrical champ. It's a gift from the God, and I'm a grow wit it, feel me," explains the rapper when asked about his first album release pending a grand exposure soon next year or the year after. "Give a fuck what I do what? Spit some fly shit for the hunnies, because everybody scared of that hard body shit, talkin about hip hop's dead, hip hop's not dead. Fuck it, whatever don't kill me, makes me stronger. Nah, but back to that album shit, anything possible under the right circumstances, and you know what I mean about that, you heard. The right production and engineer, the right team standing on my side BODY BODY, that's all I need to travel the globe," DA BODY strongly emphasized during an hour interview in the privacy of his own home. There's no question nor any doubt about how much success a single man can achieve when his belief system is like granite law, with his principle of "being creative within one self's mind" paving DB's way into the spotlight, where the benefit is the accomplishment of a personal great expectation, and not the gain of financial security, though inevitable and much-deserved. "L.E.S. has been through a lot, and it's time to make it famous through the movement," believes DB going on to mention a new song he was featured in called, "Take Back," a track he performed in collaboration with the exclusive rap artist Focus on a mix-tape album entitled "A Walk Through Myspace," which can be downloaded for free on the left side of his Myspace page. "XXL Magazine" published an article discussing its arrival to the hip hop audience as an introductory piece of what is yet to come.
