About Me

VIEVE! released the brilliant single 'Simple Pop' on July 28th 2008 to rapturous plaudits from The Sunday Times and The Independent and the single has just been playlisted on three radio stations including XFM.

With TV appearance on Chaos TV, Bikini and Pjazza to come and performances of the single on Tepeparrazza last week (shown on August 19th) the highlight gigwise is this coming week. Vieve! performed on Wednesday 30th July at the Farsons Festival at Ta Qali in front of a fantastic 4,000 crowd. The group's performance were so good and so many requests came in from the audience that Vieve! have been asked by the organisers to perform as special guests on 1st August in front of an estimated 8 to 10,000 people. The ride is just beginning.

VIEVE is a 4 girl group consisting of Francesca (16), Lyndsay (18), Marilena (16) and Marilyn (19). All four girls are from the Mediterranean and Vieve were launched in late March 2008 at the Malta Virtual Model Awards at Corinthia San Gorg in St. Julians in Malta.

Vieve have spent the last three months rehearsing, choreographing new routines, singing and recording in order to launch a 3 track promo single in the UK later in 2008 along with a short UK tour.

VIEVE are managed by Richard Rogers former A&R Manager at Warner/Chappell, BBC, IMN, EMAP, Music2deal.com, Ncompass and Creativity Music. Richard also manages former Japan member and famous bass player Mick Karn. Various top songwriters have been brought into the project including Grammy award winning Swedish songwriter Thomas Ahlstrand (Lutricia McNeil), Dennis Conoley (T.Rex, Billie Ray Martin) and Ian James writer for PJ and Duncan/Ant and ..

The style of Vieve is Sugababes meets Garbage meets Spice Girls meets Blondie meets All Saints over a game of pool. One of the group, Marilena is a main grade piano player and another Marilyn is a saxophonist so Girls Aloud they are definately not. Lyndsay is Miss Versatility, Marilena has the husky tones, Marilyn has the jazz purr thanks to too many late nights listening to Ella Fitzgerald and Francesca has the soul sound. The group are sassy and cool with charisma and class

The first three tracks Vieve have recorded are 'I Don't want To Watch Television', 'Simple Pop' and 'Sit Down' and they are due to record new tracks including a ballad 'Somersaults' shortly.

Vieve can be contacted via Silverscope Music Management at [email protected]. WELCOME TO THE DAWN OF VIEVE...... ENJOY THE RIDE
