Frida Vox

Cecilia Serrat, bajo el pseudónimo de Frida Vox, nace en Buenos Aires, Argentina, el 31 de agosto de 1982. Empieza en la música a los 9 años en la guitarra eléctrica, formando su primera banda, Pintura Freska, a los 12. Dos años más tarde empieza a participar en diferentes bandas, como Supernova o Blues Local, como bajista y baterista. Entre 1994 y 2000 participa en varias bandas, principalmente en la guitarra, hasta que en el año 2000 deja Buenos Aires para mudarse a Palma de Mallorca, donde con su hermano Leo Serrat, actual cantante de Martini Vixen, forma GengisKhan, junto a David Trillo en el bajo y Joan Dato en la batería. En 2002 Cecilia se muda a Madrid donde comienza su proyecto como solista con su primer cd en español, "Invierno". Actualmente graba temas en inglés, como los de los dos últimos cd "Bad Communication" y "Old Stories For New Books". En este nuevo proyecto, Cecilia compone todos los temas y los interpreta en las voces, guitarra, bajo, teclados y percusión. ============================================================ ====================================== Cecilia Serrat, under the alias of Frida Vox, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in August 31st, 1982. She started playing music at 9 years old, with the electric guitar, and formed her first band, Pintura Freska, at 12 years old. Two years later, she started playing in different bands, like Supernova and Blues Local, as a bass player and drummer. Between 1994 and 2000 she plays in many bands, mainly on the guitar, until she moves from Buenos Aires to Palma de Mallorca (Spain) in 2000, where she forms GengisKhan along with her brother Leo Serrat (actual singer of Martini Vixen) and David Trillo as the bass player and Joan Dato as the drummer. In 2002 Cecilia moves to Madrid and starts her solo project with her first cd in Spanish, "Invierno". At the present she is recording songs in English. Her two latest cd's are "Bad Communication" and "Old Stories For New Books".
