Norman Kortekaas

Hi,My name is Norman Kortekaas, I really love to play guitar!I started this little website especially to share my musical ideas with other musicians en music lovers.For several year I have been playing in some dutch metal bands. My first band was Mensonides, at this time we where experimenting with a couple of friends to write our own music in the style of Inflames, Death, Darktranquility and other death metal. We had a lot of fun and leared a lot from playing together, did a couple of gigs, never made a demo.My second band called Sindustry made own songs in the style of nevermore, inflames, death, Soilwork, Killswitch engaged etc. I learned a lot from playing with the musicians in the band. We had some great ideas. You can see some picktures of Sindustry on the website and some Sindustry Riffs to get an idea of what I am talking about.After a long year without a band I decided to make my own music with cubase. The songs I am making are guitar oriented rock/metal songs. Summer Breeze was my first work in may 2008. During a sunny week I got inspired and wrote a couple of happy chords, a couple of solo's and some basslines, the drums I put together with EZ-drummer.I also found some old solo peaces of me from ten years earlier. I put those on the website as well (Bright today, Dark yesterday and morning ease).Hope you enjoy it.Cheers Kaassie..
