The academy of music and sound founded by Shawn Baxter is a place where musicians learn their craft and how to make money in today’s music industry along with improving our stage skills. Us students are taught by some of the best teachers and influential session musicians around! such as; Shaun Baxter, Guthrie Govan, Andy Edwards, Phil Hilborne, Kevin Sanders, Mary Kiani, Tom Gordon, Simon Hanson, Dave Arcari, Paul Elliot, Ged Grimes, Karen Grace, Ian Hendry, Jack Casey and John Goldie.
Now The Academy Of Music and Sound students are holding a one off gig to raise money for “Cash for Kids” charity at Studio 24 on the 25th of June 08!
A number of talented bands will perform a tune from pre 50s 60s 70s-90s and 90s to present.
So come see us play! Tickets are £3 and £5 at the door!
And all ages are welcome to rock out! =)

Cash for kids is an organisation which raises money for kids who are at a disadvantage financially and emotionally. Money is raised and handed to individual families, the Social work and children’s groups to ensure that kids get all the financial help they deserve so that they can live happy and successful lives in the future.
