Nick Ciampi

About Me

With his vibrant, vocal-driven originals and his covers of rock classics, Nick Ciampi has been entertaining crowds throughout California and Oregon for nearly 40 years.Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, he taught himself to play harmonica, piano, and guitar while in high school. By the time he graduated in 1966, he was performing his original tunes at every opportunity. For more than 25 years, Ciampi has taught both piano and guitar and he mentors fellow songwriters and musicians as president and co-founder of the North State Songwriters’ Group.Easy-listening hits from the past, ageless folk-rock music and an array of original tunes offer his unique insights into life and love. Ciampi's variant guitar styles, his rich, melodic harmonica, and his earthy, honest voice combine to create a dynamic, poignant sound, whether he's performing with his backup band, Urban Legend, or playing solo.“Nick Ciampi has continually evolved as a writer and a musician and he deserves to find a wider audience.....” ---- Brian J. Kenny“There’s a singular style to his (Nick’s) writing with some really nice lyrical and musical phrasing.” ----- Jim Dyar, Redding Record SearchlightFor further information, contact: Nick Ciampi: [email protected]
