Hello allI’m Nikki, AKA Nikki Black; I’m a 23 year old musician with a deep passion and appreciation for music. I currently live in Apopka, FL which is right outside of Orlando. (FLA STAND UP) My family however is from the beautiful island of Jamaica, and has resided here in the states for about 24 years.
Due to my age, the type of music that I can relate to the most would be in the 90, the time frame of BASS MUSIC. When rap was about making your BOOTY HOP (95 South), and you could do nothing but DROP (Magic Mike) to the floor. And your arms went up and down and your friends persuaded you to C’MON RIDE DA TRAIN (Quad City DJ’s).
Ladies, not to forget we had all the fellas wantin’ dat KITTY KITTY (69 Boyz) , while we SCRUBBED DA GROUND (Splack pack), TAKE IT OFF (CC Lemonhead) , and SHAKE WHAT YO MAMA GAVE YA(Uncle Luke).
I personally miss the fun in music and can appreciate the artist that are trying to bring that back. Life isn’t a joke, which I understand but we as artist have to point out what I would call “the sunny side†of life.
I commend artists that bring the fun to music, as well has make ya body move, juke, and especially get low. With gas being so high, we need to be able to smile at what we can.
I currently work with other artist and producers, one of which is the legendary Multi- platinum producer CC Lemonhead.
This influences have given me a true understand of what it takes to make it within the music industry, and can guide me through my journey.
I’m ready to share my creativity with the world, and allow them to feel me in my music.Keep your eyes open until you see me in your city.
