BOUND BY GLORY

Back in January of 2001, Bound by Glory came about, first as three brothers (in spirit) who wanted to bring some more Oi to the San Antonio music scene. Rooted in the Christskins ministry that was formed as a vision from Debbie "Ladybyrd" Rodriguez, Bound by Glory was supposed to be an alternative to the typical Skinhead way of life, with a message that reflected the word of God. No not the "bible thumper, we're gonna shove this word down your throat" kind of message, just an alternative. We were basically old Skins and punks who saw a good thing, and had a love for some good ol Skinhead rock 'n'roll. We struggled in our walk, we fell away from time to time, but screw it.... the word of God is still in our hearts no matter who says what. In our eyes, If other religions were embraced by the punk/Oi scene over the years we wanted to be part of it. To show that God loves even the dirtiest person you could think of (which was us). Bound by Glory is no more,(we only played three shows, FOUR NOW COUNTING THE RED ALERT OXBLOOD SHOW) this page was made as a reminder to not only the band but our friends that were part of our lives....that and I just wanted to make this page. These songs were from our first show, we barely had time to practice, we sound like a fork in a garbage disposal (guitar tuning would probably of helped out a little) true music at its best!!
