About Me

While in high school I decided I wanted to work in radio. It seemed the perfect way to combine my love of music, my ability to make people laugh and my desire to work in an industry where I wouldn't have to know algebra, geometry or calculus. (Typical high school under achiever.) After managing my college radio station KBPK, I officially started my broadcasting career as receptionist at KWIZ-AM/FM in Orange County. While there I added the titles of Public Service Director, part-time disc jockey and eventually became the music director. From there, I moved to a smaller market and continued to work as a disc jockey, programming assistant, promotions director and *finally* became a PD at KCLB-FM. Until my early 30s, radio was my life!
I've been out of radio for awhile, but continue to work on the fringes of the entertainment industry...in live theater.
Summer 2006, I spent 3 amazing weeks in Australia. I love to travel, and plan on making that more of a priority in my life.

My Interests

I love rock 'n' roll and have a passion for films. I spend way too many hours on the computer...I can get lost in youtube for days at a time. I love concerts and hope to attend more in the coming year.

See my concert videos of Crowded House, Ben Folds, Al Green, INXS, B.B. King, Tom Petty and Pete Yorn here:

I'd like to meet:

Check out Tim Curry singing the Zucchini Song on Saturday Night Live

Music:

Neil Finn, Tim Finn, Crowded House, Split Enz, Liam Finn - are you sensing a theme? This picture was taken at CH's Farewell To The World concert outside the Sydney Opera House. It's an amazing DVD and includes a brilliant commentary by Neil, Nick & Mark.

Adam Marsland has released his greatest hits (both solo & Cockeyed Ghost) and I highly recommend it. In an effort to expand his fan base before his next studio release, the CD is being sold for a low $6.49 at Amazon.com

Do yourself a favor and buy it now!

Books:

I like to read, but it makes me tired so it can take forever for me to finish a book.

Batman vs The Beatles

Back in the late 60s there were rumors that "Paul was dead!"  There were clues on the album covers and there were even clues in the songs (if you played them backwards.)  In June 1970, the D...
