Pudge Band is seven guys, ( 5 musicians, a sound man and a light man ), that wants everyone who likes rock n' roll to hear our music, and to experience one of our live shows. Pudge Band has over 200 original songs to choose from, dating back to 1978. The group that is Pudge Band now has been together since March of 2007. We have recorded and self produced a cd called "Just a Madman", most of which was the hard work and dedication of our drummer and sound man. We are being played on our local rock n' roll radio station 96.9 WOUR, Sunday nights at 9:00pm on "Soundcheck", a show dedicated to playing only local rock bands. We are currently working on recording a second cd called "Which Way". Hopefully it will be done in early spring so we can get it out to you, our loyal fans who we like to refer to as "Pudgesters" a name given by Mike Jaquays a reporter who did an article on us for the Oneida Press. To quote him from the article, "Their sound harkens back to the days of the 1970s smoky barroom rock bands, to a purer time before technological wizardry took the shine off the music. Raw, edgy, uncluttered and real, the Pudge Band offers up a sound that mixes up a storytelling and party celebrating style, reminiscent of an early Bad Company with the down home, unpretentious attitude of Lynyrd Skynyrd and a bluesy beer-drinking, hell-raising helping of ZZ Top." So if you hear Pudge Band is playing near you, come out and ROCK with us.....
