About Me

Composer, Conductor and performer, Ippei Inoue was born in Yokohama, Japan. He started to study Piano and musical theory with Rie Suzuki at YAMAHA music school in Japan. He earned the degree in composition at Berklee College of Music under Yakov Gubanov and John Bavicchi, orchestration under James Russell- Smith, Jr. He also received the "Youth Concerts at Symphony Hall Award" from Berklee. He is currently pursuing a MM in composition at the Manhattan School of Music and currently a student of Nils Vigeland. Recently he scored to the short movie "Chat Room" and "Ogopogo" by Christian Amundsen.
