Emotionless Computer

Pure cuddles. No strings attached.

About Me

The summer before my first year of high school I was introduced to Magic: The Gathering (a strategic card game). I quickly became addicted to the game and started playing in tournaments across the country. By the time I was 15 years old I was ranked 13th in the world.
I tested out of high school when I was 16 to start college full time. 7 years later I dropped out with no degree (but about a million units in classes that interested me) to work full time as CEO of the company I co-founded. The company currently employs over 50 people in the US and other countries. I work 60-80 hours a week and have a lot of responsibility. It's hard for me to get away from the computer but I try.
I recently bought a house and quickly found out that home ownership is a lot more work than it looks like. People have been here doing stuff every day... electricians, painters, gardeners, plumbers, alarm company, etc. It'll be nice when everything is updated and new. You would not believe the wallpaper the old owners had on this house. Next time I buy a house Im not even going to move in until all renovations are complete. Lesson learned.
I take a Brazilian jiu jitsu class 3 days a week. Its great exercise, it teaches a practical, useful skill and its a lot of fun. Who doesn't like breaking arms and choking people out? It beats going to the gym any day. Im looking forward to summer so I can go swimming again and play some ultimate frisbee.
My goal in life is to do something great for the world to make it a better place. Ive got a few big ideas. I think by making a lot of money those ideas will be easier to realize. Fortunately, I have a job that I love and I dont mind working hard at it. Ive thought about getting into politics but I believe that its more important to change minds than change laws. Im really interested in learning about other people and cultures. I like to travel a lot and see how things are done in other places. To help the world you have to understand its people. You cant do that by sitting at home and watching TV all day.
I believe in helping people and asking nothing more in return than for them to help someone else in need if they have the opportunity. What might be a small favor for you could be a huge benefit to someone else. Take your leftovers to go and give them to a homeless guy. There are a million little things you can do. Your attitude rubs off on the people you come into contact with so if you want to live in a nice world, be a nice person. Lead by example.
Im generally a calm, quiet, shy person. My major in college was philosophy. I like to talk about philosophical problems and politics. I dont drink, I dont do drugs, I dont smoke, I dont even drink coffee. I try to stay healthy because Ive got a lot to live for and a lot I want to accomplish in my life. I'm a very logical, objective, critical thinker. I'm also very open minded and completely willing to admit when I'm wrong. I think the best arguments are the ones I lose because those are the ones I learn the most from.
I don't take life too seriously. I like to joke around a lot and have fun. I don't let the little things upset me. I feel like anger and hate are a waste of energy that could better be spent on solving the problem or anything else. You'd pretty much have to intentionally do something malicious, negligent or irresponsible to make me upset. I can remain completely calm in an argument, even if the other parties are yelling. I know... sometimes that makes the other party even more upset... Since when did raising your voice make your argument stronger though?
Theres a lot more to say but how much do you really want to read? Message me and Ill tell you more.

I'd like to meet:

Intelligent people for friends. I don't like to go clubbing or to bars. If you need company for lunch or dinner, or you just want to talk about the state of the world, I'm your guy.

WARNING: Do not send me a friend request without messaging me first. My policy is generally to only add people to my list who I have met in person. Notice how I actually have a reasonably believable number of "friends". It's called a Friends List, not a Random Internet Acquaintance I Thought You Had Cool Hair So Let's Pretend Like We Know Each Other List. If you want to take the time to really get to know me and be a real friend, send me a message and maybe someday you'll make the list ;)
