Interstella overdrive was formed in February 2008 and is made up of Samiran Culbert on lead vocals, Ben Cowcill on guitar and backing vox, Dean Phillips on bass and Toby Barnett on Drums and percussion. After a slow start due to the interruption of GCSE exams, the band are now in the process of writing their own new material and are recording some demo tracks soon! Which will be available here first!!
At the moment they are participating in many different types of concerts such as the wolseley beer festival and most recently palmers surgery and odd fellows, they have gained them self a reputation of a great energetic live band with alot to offer in the future, With influences varied from Queen to The Smiths to death from above 1979 to wolfmother, Folk, Indie, punk and German techno there is something for everyone’s musical tastes and under the astute management of Josh Roberts.
They are surely a musical force to be reckoned with, and will be playing near you soon!
