Coming up out the mean streets of Chicago, Gawd (Born Hassan Hall) has had it rough his whole life. Witnessing shootings, gang violence, and all kinds of trouble. He used to sit on the block, watching the older guys sell drugs, and he and his friends always wondered is this what life is. he started joking, free styling when he was just 8 years old. He never took rap seriously though. he stayed in Chicago for 14 years. he only calls one place his first home, and that is Moe town. The block where he first ever understood what true friends really were. At the age of 14 he moved to Atlanta, which he now calls his second home. Jokingly he made his first track, a freestyle. He showed it off to his friends at school. When he started to receive compliments, thats when he knew that he could rap. Thats when he really started to take rapping more serious. Built himself a miniature studio and started to put his pen to the pad.
