So, in the year 2008 a monkey was trained to randomly type numbers into a computer terminal. The sole purpose was to extract three names to lead Something Planet. It's way too technical to explain how random numbers related to the three names that were picked, but they were:
John J, Stuey B, and David the Day.
Since we are the leaders of Something Planet, and you--our listeners--are its inhabitants/citizens, we have an obligation to bring you the latest and greatest about Something and of course about ourselves (what world-leaders have you ever known that aren't self-absorbed?).
Every week we'll be bringing a new podcast to your iTunes or other podcast software, with funny/interesting blogs in between. As citizens of Something Planet, you also have obligations: comment on our posts with your thoughts, suggestions, or how you hate us .
We know what you're thinking: What the f#@! is a podcast? It's a relatively new thing on the Intertubes, and it's basically an mp3 file delivered to you on a periodical basis. Our format is that of talk radio with music mixed it, and eventually we'll be doing live shows where our listeners can call in and directly interact--or influence--the show as it's happening.
