Joey Fonseca aka. Joey Mondeca born in the Bronx Ny. made his way onto the hiphop scene as a young boy living in Allentown Pa.. At the age of eight his two good friends Doc Nice and Big Will encouraged him to start writing rhymes. He recalls walking down the train tracks with Doc Nice and Khalid listening to their boombox, smoking L's with a pocket full of tapes. Freestyle sessions all day. His influences are: Kool G Rap, Big L, Big Daddy Kane. Six years later he got a keyboard,beat machine and a four track. Joey started making songs with young local talent from his city like: Rime Rotten, Rev Roc and his brother Rightous,just to name a few. He became friends with longtime artist Richie Romance and took advantage of his studio loft where the Morning Glorys practiced and recorded. This is where he met Dougi and Yucavic. These two great musicians instilled Joey's love for live instruments and rock & roll. Later moving and traveling with the band Joey started working with a handful of bands, writing songs and gettin his production skills up. Now a days he's grinding with Original who started a north south co-op with T.O.S south. His grind is right, his mind is right and the time is right. Joey's music is a blend of a hustler's mentality mixed with backpack raps. With tracks on fire like: LifeFlyBy, CommonSense, SexyGirl, Pin da tail on da Donkey and DopeFeneTracks. He got the underground in his palm. As he would say: "Get it How You Live"
