I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Oh hello. If you have stumbled upon my profile you are either one of my current Myspace friends or you are a stranger who, for some reason unbeknownst to me, has found me worthy of your viewing pleasure. Either way, I'll try not to disappoint.
So, about me...I am no longer an accountant to be. Now that I've graduated from Accounting, I can safely say that no form of accounting will be in my professional future. In fact, I have re-applied as an undergraduate student for the Winter 2007 semester. Starting in January, I will begin working towards a degree in Physics. I now realize that this is what I've always wanted to do but I never had the courage to follow my own ambition. Within a decade, you'll all be calling me Dr. Singh, so enjoy this "calling me by my first name" business while you can.
Anyway, onward with this 'About Me'...I enjoy the snowboarding and the football and any other activity where the risk of permanent injury is at least an Orange on the Terror Scale. I've been described as an intellectual and a genuinely caring person. However, the lion's share of my intellectual power goes to knowing everything there is to know about The Simpsons. If I diverted even a tenth of my brainpower away from The Simpsons, I'm convinced that I could find a cure for cancer. I have also alientated my fair share of people over the years with my tactless and often bluntly honest commentary. As a result, I'm always a big hit with the ladies. Do those pants make you look fat? They sure do, baby.
To sum up: I am a man of simultaneous extremes.
"I do not know what I may appear to the world; but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me."
- Isaac Newton

Tales from the Crypt (a.k.a The Library)

So I was in the library today, taking full advantage of our week off by studying like it is going out of style. Allow me to set the scene: I was sitting in the cubicle section of the quiet room on th...

Anti-Valentine's Day Rant

So it begins. It is that time of year again. We are about to be submerged in a sea pink and red and ridiculous marketing campaigns from Hallmark. The day I speak of is, of course, Valentine's Day. ...
