poitín and stout

Rest in peace, Ronnie Drew. You are missed!

About Me

"Poitín and Stout formed to fill the void of raucous Irish music in Corvallis. Drawing their influences from the likes of the Pogues, Flogging Molly, Dubliners, Wolfe Tones, Amadán, and Dropkick Murphys, Poitín and Stout play traditional Irish standards with a refreshing passion and energy. Their instruments are strictly acoustic, but their sound is so electric that even the soberest in the audience will be stomping their feet and shouting along with each rousing chorus. You'll forget that St. Patrick's Day comes but once a year." (off the FireWorks Restaurant & Bar website [http://www.fireworksvenue.com])
