Hows it goin', we're Zero and Counting. We are out of Milan, TN. We are screamo/hardcore/christian, and we have been together since the later part of 2007. We have roots in contemporary, rock, and alternative music. We started out with Brandon, Chris, and Josh, as Zero n' Counting was merely an idea. But we still lacked the part of a lead vocalist. Ty had been here for awhile until about 2005. Then, last year, he was able to come back. He had been in a rock/alternative band before, and so the rest of us guys thought we'd give it a shot. It has worked out great! And now Ben has moved back from Texas and we had wanted him to join the band before he even moved back, BUT whe he did, the band got together and asked Ben to join us!! Ben being himself said, "duh". Now, we are...Zero and Counting.
It's not about us, its for the Glory of His Kingdom!!
Growing up in a church that opened that opened our door to new styles of music, Growing up listening to UnderOath, The Devil Wears Prada, Haste The Day, Demon Hunter, and so many others, we decided that we could reach through our music the kids of our generation, kids that look to music as an escape, or as a door way to individuality. We want to minister to kids that think that they have no one or they have nothing in life because no one pays attention to them, or they are made fun of their entire lives. We want our generation to know that God has a plan for us all and God has an open door for them to walk through. There is hope and love in his arms and that's what we want to get across to them through our music.
