About Me

What to say? I never know how to "sum" me up. I guess I'll just stick to the here and now-which actually isn't much. I just graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. I graduated at the top of my class with Magna Cum Laude and as a Bell Honors Program Scholar. I am looking forward to the future, although I have no idea what it holds for me. I keep getting the question: so how does it feel to be graduated? It doesn't really feel any different; I'm just glad it happened. Now I just have time to accomplish more goals and do it big!!!I'm fun to be around because I'm so random, I keep people laughing. Still haven't figured out if they're laughing at me or not. But, who cares? Laughter is the best medicine, right?

Music:

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Bob Marley. His music tends to free my spirit and make life just a little bit better while it's playing. His voice pulls me in, the beats fill my body in such a way that I feel like I am the song. Probably doesn't make sense if you haven't had the experience. (and it has NOTHING to do with drug influence...)

Movies:

Remeber the Titans!!!!! OH MY GOD! Love it. If you haven't seen it, let me know and I will make sure you experience the joys of watching it!!!! I know every line, every word, every grunt, every song of that movie. Of course, maybe you shouldn't watch it with me because I can tend to be a little annoying.Crash is also a great movie! Color Purple is another all time favorite, along with Spanglish.And I'm noticing a trend here with my favorite movies. They are all about race. I good go on another rant about the reason behind this...but I don't feel like it right now.

Television:

The Gilmore Girls is the best television show ever made. I love it. It's a remarkable story (to me) of a real life family. None of that fantasy shit. Or at least it is in my opinion.And I absolutely LOVE Charmed and Sex & The City!!

Books:

My love of books is intense. I do not have a favorite, I love them all. Reading (and writing) is my only escape from life. Which may explain why I am here at work (yes, I'm standing in Radio Shack) writing all this shit. Gives me time to re-evaluate and possibly forget about all the bad things that are taking place right now.

Heroes:

Life
