BIOGRAPHYFirst off, the name Green Field Boyz. was chosen because Greenfield Dr. is the street we hang on daily. So now you know what GFB stands for. This is a group which consist of 5 rappers. D'Vonte' Carter[Yung Carter], Jalen Hammond, Justin Williams[Yung], Joseph Simpson[Joee], and Jevelle Sanders[Vell]. Green Field Boyz could probably be compared to Ying Yang Twins or Soulja Boy, because of our dance songs. But this group is not tied down to one type of music, and we are known locally for there wide variety of styles, beat selections, and music in general. We can make music for the ladies, and just about any type of person.All of the the Green Field Boyz members were born and raised in different places. D'Vonte and Jalen was born and raised in Jackson,TN. Joseph was born and raised in St.Louis, MO. Justin was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. Jevelle was born and raised in Dayton, OH.But we all currently live in Jackson,TN. Which is not a big city, So its pretty hard to be heard. BUt we still don't give up. Our intentions in the music business, are to make a big impact in hip-hop in general. We want to have the opportunity to make a big name for ourselves, and also want to have the opportunity to get in the position to take care of ourselves and our families one day.We are a group with more potential than a college basketball player, to go pro. We're dedicated to our music. We are still in school, so we do have to finish our homework first. We are currently attending the following schools: JCM, Northside, and Liberty. We put school first then music, cause you can't do anything without an education. We're some of the hardest workers you'll ever meet. Why do we work so hard? To forfill a dream, and so that we will appreciate our work more. Thats exactly how we're looking at the rap game. Thus we put our all into it, we're not losing anything. We have way more to gain, so I want to ask you. Why not work hard?Other than being a rap group. There are plenty of other talents in the background. Jalen and Justin both play basketball and football. D'Vonte' plays both football, baseball, dancing, and also does fashion design. Joesph sings, dance, and box for the Golden Glove. Jevelle plays football, dances, and steps for a church group. But we all hang together on daily bases, and got out and have fun every weekend together no matter what.
