Good evening ladies & gentlemen! My name is Jonathan William Delger... I put the "Delge" in Mr. Delger & the Band of Red. All the musicians I wish would play currently makes up that which we know as "The Band of Red".
My focus & drive in an artistic manner is to drop this recurring cycle of "manufactured art." Every song sounds the like the song before & every band looks the same. Individual personalities are a complete rarity & friendships only last a few days at a time.
Music has been around for centuries upon centuries. Yet the same three chords are being thrown around in almost the same order... every... single... week.
No one knows what their neighbors' names are. No one sees a point in doing the right thing if you're not going to get caught. No one stands up for someone else & everyone can sit someone down.
Music is a form a self-expression. I play what I like, and write what I feel. That is the so-called "magic" that is Mr. Delger. My influences are heavily in the classical, jazz, & early rock genres.
I earnestly hope you enjoy what you hear on this site. Please bear with me. Eventually higher quality productions will be posted & hopefully sometime soon vocals will be added.
