Hi!
My name is Lars, I come from West-Germany and I play the drums for about one and a half years. Actually it's great fun to me =] I love playing punk music e.g. by blink182 and some rock stuff e.g. by Chili Peppers or Nirvana, but also Swing and Jazz music. I practice every day to improve my skills and my understanding of music.
Education:
My first teacher was Daniel Burkart who taught me the basics.
Then I was about one month without a teacher and improved my drumming with the advice Daniel had given me and the help of some drummers and websites online.
After I found a music school, Horst Winstermann , a german Jazz musician was my teacher for about 10 months.
After he taught me nearly everything he could, I changed to another music school, where Dennis Frehse , a great drummer who got a scholarship for Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, where he studied for 5 years, taught me until he moved to Tokyo.
Now Tobias Belker teaches me. He studied Jazz and Pop-Music at the Music-University Enschede (NL) and plays in the band N.O.H.A. . His style of drumming is very goovey and unique and he is proficent in a huge spectrum of styles and sounds.
