BIO-HAZARDOUSOGRAPHY
A MURDER OF ONE has been born from the ashes of heartache and disappointment. It is an unstoppable machine that has chewed up its share of musicians throughout the years and the current line up is the death row of metal; we are lifers.
The seeds were planted in the year of our underlord 1999, when Kev and Bagg joined up with two friends and played a scattering of shows for a few months. The seeds didn't take too well, but the ever determined love for music was fuel for the fire, a fire that slowly grew with a promise of things to come. Kev and Bagg were still jamming in the Williams basement, and eventually a new group was formed, which again did not last long. In comes the dark horse and a new life force, him that is simply known as Howie, a shitty drummer from years back. This guy was at band practice even before he was in the band and continued to fill in for the singer who was completely absent most of the time. The chemistry for this new four man group was absolute and the fire grew to monster proportions in a hurry...
And so begins the legacy of Epsilon 5 which is a story all by itself. It was like a loaded freight train; impossible to stop. That is until problems arose with one of the members and the eventual breakup of the group. Even Still, Bagg and Kev would always write music together when there was nothing going on. Bagg would write these killer riffs and Kev was continually evolving into a heavy ass drum machine. So...
After the short lived breakup of E5, the 3 remaining guys consisting of Kev, Bagg, and Howie came to a consensus that they would be going in a new and different direction. Kev happened to know a bass player whom he had played with before. The group jelled right away and so the fire grew that much more. After a year of hammering the bars the ride came to an abrupt halt with the exodus of the bass player.
The search for a replacement was crucially important as the momentum was firing on all cylinders. This task however proved to be one of the hardest yet to be tackled and one which brought the survivors to the brink of the abyss. Nothing seemed to pan out and and hope was fading with the setting of the winter sun. After several months of jamming as a three man unit, an outsider came into the picture and immediately became a part of the destruction that was ready to be unleashed upon the world. The newly formed group of four joined 3 other bands to play an out-of-town show and it was the icing on the cake. Things were finally looking up and then a wrench was once again thrown into the gears. The summer was nigh and reality came to the forefront with all the members being completely involved with their private lives.
After six months of being placed on the shelf, this project was once again thrown into action. AMURDEROFONE was born from the embers of the fire that once roared with life. Two new additions were added to the lineup which already included Kev, Bagg, and Howie. Adrian was this amazing bass god from another band in the area. His stage presence and raw talent were going to waste, and he always wanted to jam with the guys. With Adrian came Jay, an amazing guitar player who could shred like a wild beast. The circle was now complete.
.....and then there were four! For about four seconds that is. True to form AMURDEROFONE has shredded its way through yet another bassist on its way to the top of the metal heap.
This time around however, a kindred spirit made his presence known almost at once, introduced by JR himself. Straight from hell with a nasty bag of tricks, this psycho not only burns up the bass strings, but, like Mr. Williams, can light up the guitar AND crush the skins like nobody's business. Enter Geof (aka The Replacement Killer).
The Death Machine has awakened and the kill stroke is in full swing, so be prepared for some grey matter splatter cause these crazy bastards are out for blood. The fit is seamless and a new legacy has only just begun. Be sure and catch the devastation first hand. Check our Upcoming Shows section for a date from Hell with AMurderOfOne.
