From the home of the Old Order Amish, Pennsylvania Dutch Country, we, the Lancaster County Bart (beard) und Schnauzer (moustache) Friendship Society celebrate the gift bestowed upon us by nature.

Unlike Amish men, who are mandated to cultivate their beards only once married and are forbidden from growing hair above the lip, we welcome facial hair wherever and whenever it may sprout.

The Lancaster County Bart und Schnauzer Friendship Society is a proud member of Beard Team USA.

Support Beard Team USA as it competes against the globe at the World Beard and Moustache Championships in Anchorage, Alaska on May 23, 2009.
