Chris Terranova

Thanks for stopping by my music page! I'm Chris Terranova and this page is all about my drumming and musical background. I've been playing drums since I was 9 years old thanks to Ringo Starr. I've grown up listening to almost everything including rock, jazz, rap, country, punk, etc. My family loves music so it's in the genes. I started lessons with Dan Morello when I was 14 learning the basics on how to read music and rudiments. My 2nd teacher was Donna Palmer who opened me up to piano, mallets, timpani, quads/snare for marching band, congas, timbales, etc. My 3rd teacher was Todd Sheid at California Drum Shop in Bethlehem who opened me up to bits of latin. My 4th teacher was D. Scott Williams also out of California Drum Shop who made me realize a lot about music and drums...PRACTICE!! I'm currently giving drum lessons at Strike a Chord music in Walnutport PA. My first and only kit is a 1961 Gretsch four piece kit thanks to my Uncle Jeff. I use Zildjian cymbals mostly but I do own a Sabian paragon series crash. I use Yamaha and DW hardware and Vator 5B sticks. I'm an Alumni from Northampton Community College in Radio/TV. I've taken audio production classes to learn how to record bands and audio for film. I'm currently going to attend Temple University for more education in the same field. The songs on this page with my picture next to them are songs I've played, helped engineer, and helped produce. The songs with a band picture next to them are songs from bands I was in in the past. To sum up this biography, this whole thing is show off what I'm capable of and I'm hoping to land some studio work for almost any type of Rock n' Roll music.
