"Lowtide" - Autoban from Souljacker (Ireland) on Vimeo .
Slick, sharp, guitar-toting Dublin quartet Autoban were initially making waves as far back as 2005 in their former guise as Andalusia – making friends and impressing people with their tight riffery at the likes of the Hard Working Class Heroes festival. Since then, a name and line-up change has altered their style, but not their sound, with frontman Darren Hardiman providing some of the most exciting vocals, lyrics and melodies from a Dublin band in recent years. With their debut single, ‘Lowtide’ – one of Tony Fenton’s (Today FM) top tracks in July – tucked firmly under their belts, the indie troubadours continue their resurgence with the release of their second limited edition double a-side single, ‘Sirens/This City’s Fashions’. Having received over 3,000 downloads of the single from entertainment.ie and 2,000 views of the new video in its first week online, you can now bag yourself a copy of the limited edition cd format single from myspace for a tiny fee.Request Autoban on Phantom FM by texting 083 311 1052

"Autoban's new single 'Sirens' draws you in like the winged Greek mythological creatures of the same name, and before you regain your senses, you've been thrashed against funky rocks like a hapless ancient sailor. This upbeat number is an instant floor-filler - dance, kitchen or otherwise." - HeraldAM (Sirens Single review)
“Quirky, killer riffs, cowbell smacking intros and punch drum finales, is a recipe for greatness.†– Entertainment.ie (live review)
"Instantly catchy guitar sound and the laid back vocals - a band set for big things" TODAY FM
“Their fusion of post-punk, post-funk and peachy pop is astonishingly moreish. I want to own everything they'll ever record. This is aspirational pop perfectionism, a soulmate to Franz Ferdinand's 'guitar music to dance to' ethic. In a crowded and competitive scene, Autoban have raised the bar further.†– InDublin Magazine (live review)
"Their slick, sharp and energetic performances have helped the band build a reputation as one of the best live performers around." - Tallaght Voice (Single preview)
"Up-and-coming, edgy electro rockers Autoban have a raw sound that you really Auto' check out!" - The Star (Single preview)
