About Me

Natasha Arguete was born September 27, 1987 in Mexico City. At a very young age she developed a particular curiousity for music, fed with her father's taste for classical music, traditional Turkish music and Rock. At the age of 3, she started her musical education in a music school where she learned how to read and write music, and play percussive instruments. She graduated at 9, becoming the youngest student ever admited in that school. Soon after, she began taking piano lessons that made her passion grow, giving her a very strong background on classical music. At home, her father gave her a more contemporary approach to music, sharing with her his CDs of artists such as Jimmy Hendrix and Pearl Jam. At the age of 13, she started taking opera lessons, developing her register to become a full high soprano. Combining her singing lessons with her acting lessons, she participated in local musical theatre plays. She recorded gingles for important toy brands, milk brands and a local TV channel, gaining a certain popularity among gingle producers that very often used her voice. Today, Natasha is studying at Berklee College of Music, majoring in Music Business, writing lyrics in 5 different languages (Turkish, Spanish, French, English and Italian) and working separatly with a Mexican corporation as a legal and managing advisor.
