Pearlynsia, singer/songwriter is an undeniable true talent. One of the rarest in her form the name says it all. Born in Houston , TX , she was just 4 years old when she discovered entertainment is her life. Her mother realizing her potential entered Pearlynsia in a performing arts school at the age of 7 years old. There Pearlynsia began developing her singing, dancing, acting, song writing & fashion. From her earlist years, Pearlynsia remembers hearing music in her home. "My mom would throw parties all the time and I would have to go up stairs in my room and I would fall asleep on artist from Curtis Mayfield to Aretha Franklin. All types of music, my mother was a very diverse women, she use to always say "you need like more than one type of music"." Surprisingly for one her age, Pearlynsia cites artist like, Curtis Mayfield, Gladys Knight (excellent alto), Sam Cook, Patti La'Belle, Donnie Hathaway, Aretha and the list goes on as her initial inspiration. "I love all music, our legends/ icons who paved the way and new artist, but my favorites are the legends. That is when the artist had true talent." Pearlynsia grew up singing in church and shocking her elders with her sultry urban voice, everyone knew entertainment is what she was destined to do. "I couldn't stand still for more that a 1 minute, I was always dancing and singing, putting on shows for my family and friends, even when they didn't ask I would perform for them for hours." Classically trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Ball Room dancing, Pearlynsia is bringing the heat to the stage. Combining charisma, passion and style, there is no wonder why she is so appealing. From her inviting smile to her erotic/sultry vocals, there is no doubt she is on her way to the top.
