Aquatic was formed in 2008 by Richie Mays and Scott Phillips from the Wayside Riders. Scott also played with Stephen Hendrix in the band The Fly Brothers. Rich Grillo was called in to fill the bass position, James Duncan joined as the Lead Singer, and together they are Aquatic. The band plays original music and covers throughout the southeast. Aquatic have their own style of music.... a mix between reggae and southern rock, with a bit of the "Jam Band" style thrown in. Many of the best players in the Georgia scene have shared the stage with Aquatic, including Jai Swann, Luke Shirah, Steve Mays, Pete Orenstein, and many more.
