As stated before, my interests are painting, food and drink, reading, socializing and listening to music. Very simple and straight-forward. I am also partial to Japanese swordsmanship and drinking obscure liquors and cocktails.
Hell, anyone. Except, I am both looks and personality orientated. I'm no Brad Pitt but I expect a certain level of health and attractive appearance from those I associate myself with and from myself. I expect you to be intelligent, interesting and reasonably polite and I promise to be the same. If you care, I'm incredibly attracted to women with lithe beauty and dark brown or black hair. Curves help. This is a non-smoking area, though I've made exceptions before.
For music, I tend to not have favorite bands. More often I have favorite songs across many genres. To simplify this for readers though I'll say I listen to Apocalyptica, Beethoven, Dream Evil, Black Sabbath, Guns 'n' Roses, Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, RjD2, The Roots, Sage Francis, Cannibal Ox, Ice Cube, Chuck Mangione, Oscar Peterson and Type O Negative.I also play both the acoustic and electric guitars and still remember the C and G scales on the piano. I have forgotten how to play the harmonica completely.
I don't own any DVD or VHS movies. I only rent or watch movies in-theatre that I think I absolutely must. My current list of important movies for myself goes: Sin City, Hero, Amelie, Fifth Element, History of Violence, Chinatown, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and Kung Fu Hustle.
Once a week I watch Japanese TV for language practice. Whenever I find 'em I catch episodes of my Favorite Western TV Rescue Me.

Myself. If you don't approve of yourself, you've got a snowball's chance in hell.
