STEVEN THOMAS was born February 16 1971 in the great city of New Orleans, Louisiana. At birth GOD instilled in him the ability to sing and perform. When Steven was 11 years old he found the Lord(rather the Lord found him) and he began singing in the church choir as a member of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. These gospel roots would follow him for the rest of his life. Two brief years later he was given the opportunity to sing with one of New Orleans then premier gospel groups, The Voices of Redemption under the direction of Mr. Tom Washington. Steven’s great sound accompanied with his wonder personality opened many doors for him. Steven than began singing in different venue, for various crowds and ministries as well. Steven was not just content with just singing, he felt the Lord leading him to broaden himself. So at the age of 14 he wrote his first song entitled “Honoring the Lord.” Although this song was never published he still felt it was a step in the right direction. As time went on Steven began the wonderful journey of learning the in and out’s of music, ministry and life. At the age of 21 after a brief, but enjoyable time serving our nation in the United States Navy, Steven realized it was time to give the world what GOD had given him. He began singing background for several different recording artists and landed a position as a choir director and praise and worship leader of the Life Center Full Gospel Baptist Church where he is still active today. At the age of 31 Steven accepted the call to the ministry and by 33 was licensed to preach the Gospel to the world. Steven has also been the Minister of Music for such churches as Mt. Zion Ora, Greater Mt. Calvary, New Life Ministries and The Higher Ground Outreach Ministry. He has sung lead on the Louisiana State Mass Choir of the Full Gospel Baptist Churches Fellowship’s project in with he is the International Minister of Music for the Youth Division of that same fellowship. Steven is also a proud member of the group CHOICE BLESSINGS and a former member of the group UNITED SAINTS. He is the Southern District Minster of Music and Director of Praise and Worship. Steven is now the owner and CEO of his own production company call Thomas Productions. Last and more over he is the proud father of 7, that’s right 7 beautiful children, Ariana, Steven, Bj, Cross, Dante, Kayla, Trinity and is the husband of the most beautiful woman in the world, Jessica.I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
