Moses and the Burning Bush

About Me

Moses And The Burning Bush does herald one thing: The shift toward the slacked-out, defiantly lo-fi sounds of the 90's as something to be fully revived as opposed to just revered. The bands recent EP should be familiar to anyone who grew up on a steady diet of aloof groups like Mudhoney and Pavement. MATBB has a similar do-or-die vibe that those burnt out on indie rock's recent turn toward the overly orchestrated preciousness should readily embrace.
The Onion
You can't deny that this is some raw and intense stuff here, the way it just comes at you and leaves you shaking in your seat.
Kizzy - Infuzed
I felt the raw and refreshing passion burning through the speakers of my stereo.
DW - Insite Magazine
This is music that's as raw as a fresh stab wound, as intense as a psychopaths migraine and as grungy as a tramps undergarments. Take a listen to Moses And The Burning Bush and you'll be booking your flight to Mt. Sinai to shout "thou shalt listen to this band and buy their records".

Infuzed review

InSite Review

In the case of the band's eponymous EP, it took me over five minutes to get over "The Light Of The City", because I was compelled to play it twice. Maybe it was the ten-second (plus) intro and purpose...

LoenardsLair.co.uk Review

Listening to Moses And The Burning Bush can be a disquieting experience. This is raw music, intense and stripped bare for everyone to see it's wounds. The reason for the primal noise is not surprising...
