You And Whose Army? Records

About Me

You And Whose Army? Records is run from the spare room in our North London flat. We were going to have a witty, laugh-out-loud funny, piss take 'description' of what YAWA is all about… BUT that wouldn't be telling you what you probably really want to know. In short, we are fun people running a record label because we genuinely enjoy the releases we are involved with. Our label manifesto has been simple and straightforward from the beginning: to offer artists of any size, writing and performing great new music, a way to release this music to the public.

We take great pride in each and every one of our releases and will always use all means at our disposal to properly produce, package, press, distribute, promote and plug our releases as well as putting our artists career and progress above all

We have released music by artists as diverse as:
Shuriken
Fallout 40
Before Braille
Dopamine
as well as releasing the compilation CD Punk Academy Vol.1 which featured:
Hitechjet, Recover, The Bombjacks, Route 215, Captain Everything, Fireapple Red and many many more.

"With 'Punk Academy' You and Whose Army Records have actually succeeded in achieving two things a) producing a totally kick ass compilation (something that's rare to come about these days) and b) proving that the UK scene is something that we should all be proud of, and under no circumstances dismiss. One word of advice: keep an eye on this label, because if this compilation's any indication of what's yet to come from them, then they're most definitely going to be purveyors of the finest quality records for a long, LONG time to come." -Playdead Fazine: Issue 6
