My Passion's Dancefloor thrilling electro shock rock nightmare delivers a shot to the gut that has you screaming for more!
MY PASSION’S MUSIC TRANSCENDS BETWEEN HEIGHTS OF HEAVEN AND DEPTHS OF HELL! ONE MINUTE YOU'RE AT THE GREATEST PARTY ON EARTH AND YOUR WORLD IS FILLED WITH JOY, THE NEXT YOURE PLUNGED INTO A DARK DIRTY SCENE FROM A TIM BURTON FILM AND A NIGHTMARE THAT YOU DON’T WANT TO END! IT’S TIME TO START LIVING.
My Passion have played over 300 shows, driving from Inverness to Paris in their ex Salvation Army transit van. The van has now driven the equivalent of four and a half times around the earth! Alongside this extensive tour schedule, Myspace has been huge for the band with the name spreading around the globe, by word of mouth and live shows the friends and plays are spiraling due not only to the for mentioned work rate but thanks to the band's persistence to run the site themselves and reply to all who venture on those cyber pages!Despite overtures from some of the cooler labels out there (and one unnamed major), they decided to pursue world domination on their own terms with the launch of their own label, ‘Style Suicide Records’. The first release Tomorrow Girls, recorded with Mark Williams (Enter Shikari, Fightstar, and The Killers) sold out of its limited 2000 pressing. Followed by the second 'Hot in the dolls house' going on to sell over 2000 hard copies from live shows alone since June plus great success through iTunes. Not content with playing the hundreds of live dates in the past two years, they also launched their own club night “Style Suicide Clubâ€, a magnet for the disaffected youth and suburban misfits. It was NME’s Club of the week after just one outing. My Passion’s raising profile led to them being asked by the US pop culture celebrity 'Jeffree Star' to support him on his debut sold out UK tour. A live response and hysteria has led to shows being booked in those cities due to phenomenal demand for an ever growing tour at the start of 2008. The Band has now also just completed shows with Kill Hannah, finishing up with a heart stopping set at London’s Islington Academy! This success by their own means, determination and the huge popularity of the bands merchandising range 'my passion fashion' reaching fans across globe and boasting over 500 custom designs, has meant that they have been able to fund tours and gain a phenomenally addicted fan base without a label or any backing, through their own hard work. What has influenced the My Passion style? Everything. Pop, Electro, Metal, Punk, Dance from the last 40 years! On the van stereo: The Smashing Pumpkins, Timbaland, The Cure, Thrice, The Faint, Radiohead, DFA 1979 & GlassJawMy Passion will soon be hitting a town or city near you... Embrace it and shake with us or start running.. Tell The world.
