About Me

Tom Kat Records is a rock record label based in Portland Oregon, with national, international, and online distribution. The label also places music in Television and Movie projects. Founded in 2007 by media veteran Thomas J. King, after he and some of his artists split-off from Long Live Crime Records. Rock groups such as Cage9 and Envy of Nona joined the fledgling label. The rock group Dust from Iceland, became the first original artists to launch from Tom Kat Records. In 2008, Digital Syndicate Network's music division DSN Music, purchased controlling interest in Tom Kat Records.
