Konkrete is the group, Unified is the label and the Thoughtz is always Konkrete. Wuss good, My name is "SD" (S)upreme (D)esign Mathis. I've been spitten now for about 15 years, I call my style "Mood Muzic" because it depends on my mood, and you never know what to expect from me. You might hear some Knowledge one day, then I'll flip the script and give you some street related Issues the next. I was inspired by the late Tupac Shakur, His lyrics made me realize that music is a form of expression and an art in itself.
I tried to do the Gangsta music when I was younger but it wasn't me, As I grew so did my music. In High school I hooked up with 3 other cats that spit, and we all happen to be Mixed so we formed the group "The Halfbreeds". That lasted for about 2 years before we all graduated and changed our names to "Triple R" which stood for Rough, Rugged & Real. Again that lasted for about 2 years before we all went our seperate ways to do other things.
In early 2000 I hooked up with 2 of the hottest cats in the 814, Josh "Myth" Hain and Caprice "Starbourn" Hollis. We were all on some deep, east coast type music that made you think as well as Bob ya head, so we formed the hottest team since the bulls and started collecting rings..(lol) Konkrete Thoughtz is just that, "Thoughtz of Konkrete". We make hits and nothing more.
In 2002 my man Myth went to jail, that made us write a bit more on our own, Starbourn and Myself held it down but in the process we decided to do solo projects to keep busy. So here's a sample of my work, I hope yall can feel where Im coming from. If not, then its cool cause I write music for me first off.
