About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor - Image Hosting

First of all: temporary layout. will be changed someday (for example those links above, can't get rid of 'em on my own)I'm quite a complicated and complex person, so it's very hard to describe me, even for myself. But I'll give it a try, anyway.I'm a passionate CD- and record buyer and I just love the sound of records. Nothing can beat the sound of vinyl. It's quite expensive, though, especially when combined with all those various bands I'm listening to ( I just can't download an entire album, I HAVE to buy it, even if it's already on my harddrive. I need to have it in its original form) I like to discuss (as stated in a different section), but I'm not forcing anyone to participate. Discussions are just as good as the participants are willing to. Although I am German, I tend to write in English pretty often and I'm actually often more comfortable with writing in English than in my own native language. I tend to talk/write pretty much, but it often depends on my mood, at least most of the time. Means, the more I talk/write, the happier I am. Usually. I'm quite airheaded (sometimes?) and tend to forget things quite often. It's really frustrating for both me and the others, but oh well, that's just me. Besides I'm really stubborn, I tend to keep my opinion no matter what unless someone's got a good reason to convince me otherwise. However, I can accept it if someone's right and I'm wrong, so my stubbornness might not be that bad. I'm a wannabe perfectionist. I'm a realist with tendencies to pessimism. I can't talk or have a conversation without moving my hands, I need to emphasize my words with gestures. I prefer nice bars and restaurants to discos. I feel pretty uncomfortable with presenting my inner characteristics to anyone apart from my friends. This list will probably be updated every now and then, so take a look when you feel like it.

My Interests

There are quite a few, so I'll take a deep breath before I'll continue on writing ;)I love civilized discussions, as weird as it may sound, but it's sometimes really enjoyable. Furthermore I love reading (in general, too) and especially writing poetry (and prose, too) and taking photographs of all sorts, but especially from landscapes. Of course I love looking at such photographs as well. Besides, I'm interested in the more unusual stuff, doesn't matter what it is (I obviously can't explain what I mean, so you just have to find it out by trial and error)There's so much more I'm interested in, thus it's very hard to write it all down, but I guess it's best if you find it out by yourself ;)

I'd like to meet:

Ah, quite a few people actually, basically (some of) the guys from my favourite bands. I'd really love just talking to them, having a simple and good conversation. I wouldn't want them to see me as a fan who's just wanting to talk to them because they're famous, but I want to talk to them from human to human, just getting to know them a bit better.Might sound weird, but that's just how it is.

Music:

I'm able to listen to almost every kind of music (Classical music, rock, metal, all that stuff, you know?) I'm opened up for anything. I'm especially fond of the music from the 70's and 80's, partly 60's as well. Those bands and the artist now listed are my favourite bands, but there are, of course, way more bands I'm listening to. Here they are: Queen (including solo works), Depeche Mode (including solo works), Led Zeppelin, Metallica, INXS, Jean Michel Jarre. Furthermore there are the following bands and artists I'm able to listen to (just an excerpt): Pink Floyd, Bjork, Saga, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Kiss, George Michael, The Doors, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Journey etc.etc. More will (maybe) follow sooner or later

Movies:

Quite a few, for example Schindler's List, The Green Mile, Memoirs Of A Geisha etc.

Television:

I barely watch TV, so I guess there's nothing special to write down here.

Books:

Too many to write them down.

Heroes:

Don't have any, I guess. But maybe as to songwriting qualities I've got some men I admire, named Martin L Gore, James Hetfield and some more.
