THE SOUND OF KIMCHASE STANDS ALONE!With songs in her library from "Tonight" to "I Confess" the titles even prove she's got something to talk about and this is not just another pop one hit wonder talent. Born and raised in Nyack, NY, KIMCHASE cultivated her skills while living in Atlanta working with super producers such as Tricky Stewert (Brittany Spears, Rihanna), DonVito (Cherish) and many others.The young talent set her sights on returning to the "roots" of historic music, which could only mean Motown. While making Detroit her home, KIMCHASE continues to work with hot artists like Roc Bottom, Dev White and Pryncess Kutt.During her high school years she performed at various open mic venues to try out her original material. She would comb New York's lounges like The Blue Angel, Nell's, Wilsons and Sylvia's to hone her skills. Eventually, that dedication and grind work piloted KIMCHASE into a position as a background vocalist for the late Gerald Levert's "G" album. One year later in 2000, she sang a hook on a record called "Never Had" for Dreamworks female rapper Sole; which was released on vinyl and sold in all record stores across the country. 2000 proved to be a 'breakout' year for KIMCHASE. She had a write up in Billboards November 18th issue. A short time after this accomplishment KIMCHASE'S dreams were beginning to come true when she scored her first music placement as co-writer on the song called "Bend On Over (OK)" performed by five brothers named Jersey Ave. The song was featured on the motion picture movie soundtrack Two Can Play That Game starring Vivica A. Fox and Morris Chestnut. The movie Snipes featuring Nelly, picked up a song from KIMCHASE entitled Down&Dirty for it's soundtrack as well!KIMCHASE had the honor of co-writing and placing three more records in between 2002 through 2008, involving a Motown Records group called Her Sanity, who recorded "Can I Be Sure" on their debut album, an artist overseas recorded "Fall In Love" and a record called "Stay Ballin" was recorded by an artist in Greece!Taking her game to the next level, she and producer OllieWood (Ciara, Jagged Edge, Yolanda Adams) wrote local and national commercial spots currently playing on cable television and radio. The clients include: Detroit Business Institute, Dry Clean Depot and "To the Point Programming". These are just a few of the broadcasting projects KIMCHASE has lent her talents to.Wood Entertainment released in late 2008, KIMCHASE'S highly anticipated single "Tonight" on Snocap, Thumplay and soon to be on itunes!
